Educational Freedom Informational Forum

Register Now!                 In order to enjoy a "bright" future, every child deserves a great education, "today".

Parents in Providence and across Rhode Island cannot wait for long-term school reforms. For their children, the window to receive a quality education will be closed. At this forum, parents, civic leaders, and lawmakers can learn about immediate options that can empower parents with the freedom to choose the best educational option for their kids.

This forum is a private 'invitation only' event. Only those individuals who have been invited and directed to this website should proceed to the regisration page. Please contact us if you would like to be considered for an invitation.

Your questions will be heard and answered. The forum will be an interview style event, with questions from the audience, where participants will hear from a nationally renowned advocate for educational freedom - Derrell Bradford.

Derrell is an expert on improving urban educational optioins for parents.Derrell recently finished a two-and-a-half-year commitment as the Executive Director of Better Education for Kids (B4K), a 501c4 organization supporting common-sense bipartisan education reforms in New Jersey. Previously, Derrell served as the Executive Director and Director of Communications for New Jersey’s Excellent Education for Everyone (E3). A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Derrell attended the St. Paul’s School For Boys and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.A. in English and creative writing. Many thanks to EdChoice.org for sponsoring Derrell's trip to Rhode Island.

Parents and civic leaders will learn about the many forms of school choice and how they can benefit families. We also hope to dispel the many myths put forth by those who do not support educational reforms. Lawmakers will learn how these school choice options will not harm public schools and how they will not require any additional funding from taxpayers.

When legislators and members of the public are informed and stand together in order to demand better educational options - immediately - for their children, then every child can have the chance for a Bright Today educational future.
