#AMERICA250RI Nine winners will earn a $250 or $100 gift card!
In celebration of America250, and in support of the US Department of Education’s “History Rocks! Trail to Independence Tour,” our RI Center for Freedom & Prosperity, in partnership with Americans For Prosperity (AFP) is conducting a patriotic video contest for K-12 students in Rhode Island. Participating students are asked to create and post a patriotic video-short, using the hashtag – #America250RI – where possible, and describing why they are proud to celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s Declaration of Independence. The video should include mention of our nation’s underlying principle of liberty.
PETITION CALLING ON THE “ACT ON CLIMATE” COMMISSION TO RECOMMEND AFFORDABLE ENERGY POLICIES
Rhode Island families already suffer from some of the highest electric bills in America. Yet, our state’s current “Act On Climate” mandates will raise our electric bills to “staggering” new levels. Worse, without the federal funding that was anticipated when the “Act” was passed in 2021, Ocean Staters will be forced to bear an even more oppressive cost burden. Call on the “Act On Climate” Commission to recommend affordable energy policies now!
PROTECT GIRLS’ SPORTS – SIGN THE PETITION TODAY!
Girls deserve a fair and safe playing field. Rhode Island Interscholastic League (RIIL) must comply with federal Title IX laws and repeal its policy allowing biological boys to compete in girls’ sports. This unfair rule threatens competition, safety, and the integrity of female athletics. Join us in demanding change—fill out the form today and help protect the future of girls’ sports! An email with your comments will be sent to key decision makers. Do not wait, take act today!

ACTION: THE GOVERNMENT’S ASSAULT ON OCEAN STATE FAMILIES
Has our own government become the enemy of Ocean State families? Corrupt insiders win … families lose! It’s time to restore traditional family values, “love of country” and “trust in God.” The current all-of-government abuses and corruption is robbing our children of a bright and prosperous future and is destroying the chances for most families to advance up the income ladder. In short, Rhode Islander’s own government is at war with their families. Take action now and share this important message on social media. We have made it easy for you. Don’t wait!
SUPPORT THE CALL FOR THE COMMISSIONER’S RESIGNATION AND FOR REPEAL OF RIDE’S CURRICULA AUTHORITY
Under the deficient leadership of its commissioner, Angelica Infante-Green, the Rhode Island Department of Education deserves an “F” for failing to implement successful educational reforms while student achievement continues to plummet across the state. Infante-Green’s tenure coincides with passage and enactment of a controversial bill (S0863) that took away local school district control and granted RIDE with the authority to develop and mandate curricula standards in core subjects for all school districts in the Ocean State.
